‘Kid Kulafu’ shares the untold story of Manny Pacquiao via Pay Per View on TFC

April 20, 2015 (Quezon City, Philippines) – Before the much-awaited “Fight of the Century” on May 2 (May 3 AEST, Guam and NZDT), Pay Per View on TFC unveils the early days of one of the prized fighters set to bout, Manny Pacquiao, via the movie “Kid Kulafu” starting April 22.

Before People’s Champ Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquiao faces fellow legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the fight of his life, “Kid Kulafu” details the bareness before the boxing gloves, and his losses before his wins in the boxing ring Pacquiao called life.

Film director Paul Soriano said the film follows Pacquiao’s early days as a child dealing with his family’s search for a home up until the time he faced more challenges as a teenager struggling to make ends meet in General Santos City, Saranggani province (Mindanao, Philippines).   According to Soriano, it took Star Cinema and Ten17 Productions two years of extensive research in order to faithfully capture the life of the child before the champion. Stillin cinemas today, 'Kid Kulafu' stars Buboy Villar,Alessandra de Rossi, Alex Medina, Khalil Ramos and Cesar Montano.
