'The Philippine's Bad Boy', Robin Padilla is very open on his admiration to Ping Lacson. He even made and top-billed a true-to-life-fiction movie, '10,000 Hours' which was inspired by Ping's 'fugitive chapter'. The two are very much alike. Both are infamous as 'Bad Boys' in their own fields, both are loving family man and both to be considered as 'Idol ng Masa'.
'Hanga talaga ako sa kanya (Ping)' as Robin Padilla mentioned when asked about the former senator. Robin added.
They also have some differences as Binoe explained. The former rehabilitation czar was all made for politics while Robin believes that politics is not the only way to help the people. Although Robin tried to run for a political position during the 1995 election, sadly he failed to convince the voters of Nueva Ecija. Since then, he ended his path on politics. Robin ended his statement by saying:
The two may have similarities but they obviously have differences. One thing is for sure, both has the heart to help and the attitude to deliver good deeds to others. #PLNaisNgBayan
